“Town Talk”, A Conversation With KT Official The ATA Baby

Inkster, Michigan has produced generations of talented artist and KT Official is no different. The young wordsmith decided that music was therapeutic at an early age, and ever since he’s been providing a soundtrack to the streets for people in his position. Thissomebull.com sat down with KT Official to talk about how the “Town Talk” MC came of age.

TSB: Introduce yourself to our readers.

KT Official: It’s Inkster’s finest, KT Official aka ATA BABY. 

TSB: Talk to me about growing up in Inkster, Michigan.

KT Official: It was cool just like any other hood a lot of negativity, odds stacked   against you, you just got to make a way.

TSB: What influenced you to make music?

KT Official:  I never had a way to express myself when I was younger, and I was dealing with some situations that I needed an outlet for, so I chose to write music for therapy.

TSB: Describe how you felt when “Town Talk” hit 100k plus views. 

KT Official:  It was a blessing, it made me even more motivated to keep going because that was the first milestone that really caught my attention.

TSB: Tell me about your new project, “Strictly Biz”.

KT Official:  Me and my brother TJBandUp got a crazy collab project together were focusing on speaking to the young dawgs and the streets to stop crashin out and focus back on the money and getting yo mama out the hood.

TSB: What other brands or companies are you currently working with? 

KT Official: Just workin with different podcast like NewhiphopGen and making relationships with vendors, gettin more into my clothing brand rockstarvibez.
