I don’t know if you’ve ever been in a room and in walks the sunshine. Well, I have, it all started six years ago when Shelby Lea was born. The first time I seen her smile it lit everything around me up. Now Shelby is a best-selling author of the children’s books series sweeping the nation by storm, “The Adventures Of Shelby Sunshine.” Thissomebull.com recently spoke with Shelby Sunshine, about her book-series, and what made her want to become an author.
TSB: Could you introduce yourself to our readers.
Shelby Sunshine: Hi everyone! My name is Shelby Sunshine. I’m a 6-year-old child author. My dad and I started writing books together in 2021. I enjoy art, singing, cooking with my family, and playing with my puppy, Charlie.
TSB: What made you want to write books?
Shelby Sunshine: I wanted to become an author because I watched my dad turn his ideas into books. My parents always taught me I can be anything I want to be. So, we decided to take my stories and turn them into children’s books. My mom also helps as our editor. It’s cool because we can all work together as a family!
TSB: Tell me about your book series, “The Adventures Of Shelby Sunshine.”
Shelby Sunshine: “The Adventures of Shelby Sunshine,” is a children’s book series about my life. We write stories from the eyes of a kid- everything from vacations to starting kindergarten, to enjoying time with our family.
