Phat Snoop has been spitting hustler tales over some of the best production the city has seen. Legendary verse, well produced videos, and a host of hits in the streets, Phat Snoop is ready to show the world, he’s still at it. Thissomebull.com caught up with the west side native to speak about his plans to get bigger and help the community.
TSB: Introduce yourself to our readers.
Phat Snoop: What up doe, I’m Phat Snoop!
TSB: Talk to me about growing up Fenkell.
Phat Snoop: Growing up on Fenkell was cool typical shit that go on in every hood around the world grindin tryin to make it out.
TSB: What made you want to get in the music business.
Phat Snoop: I had a passion for music since a kid my guys would leave the block go to the studio one day, I went it’s been on ever since.
TSB: Streets R Us was one of the groups responsible for the current state of Detroit rap, how did Streets R Us form?
Phat Snoop: It started with me VA, Jack Jack, then came baby James Freeky Skywalker and 40 Kal.
TSB: Was it a tuff transition from the streets to being a full-time artist?
Phat Snoop: It was tuff transforming the money was slow and to do music it takes money to make money, a lot of money lol everything worked out.
TSB: You’ve had success as a solo artist and in different groups, what’s next for Phat Snoop?
Phat Snoop: Next thing for me is to expand my brand go global have enough power and money to put people in position to accomplish they dreams. Give back to the kids, take care of the elderly. Make a way for drug addicts and the poor that want a second chance at life. It’s only right to give back especially if u got the money and connections to make it happen.
TSB: You’ve released a few singles in 2022, what are you plans for 2023?
Phat Snoop: 2023 is to drop my album get into film and clothing more endorsements bigger shows, run it up and position myself to make millions.
