President Biden officially touched down in Buffalo, New York this afternoon to address the heartbreaking tragedy that occurred just days ago when a mass shooting was carried out by terrorist Payton Gendron that claimed the lives of 10 people. During his impassioned speech, Biden firmly denounced white supremacy and referred to it as “poison” that requires action and not complicity.
“What happened here is simple and straightforward: Terrorism. Terrorism. Domestic terrorism. Violence inflicted in the service of hate and the vicious thirst for power that defines one group of people being inherently inferior to any other group,” President Biden said.
Additionally, President Biden also made it very clear that white supremacy and its participants have no place in America. “I call on all Americans to reject the lie. I condemn those who spread the lie for power, for political gain and for profit. We need to say as clearly and forcefully as we can that the ideology of white supremacy has no place in America,” he stated as he was visibly emotional.

Another focal point of the speech was when Biden slammed the media, politics and the Internet for radicalizing white supremacy and spreading the racist “replacement theory” that white people, specifically, are currently at a high risk of being replaced by minority groups.
As we previously reported, 10 people (all of them Black) were killed and three wounded when an 18-year-old terrorist Payton Gendron opened fire at a Tops Friendly Market in a predominantly Black neighborhood in Buffalo, New York on May 14th.
