Music City Bowl cuts ties with ex-Jets RB

Zac Stacy has lost a role with a college bowl game after he was accused of being the man in a horrifying video attacking his ex-girlfriend in front of their infant child in Florida.

The Music City Bowl announced Thursday that Stacy, 30, who played running back for the St. Louis Rams and New York Jets from 2013-15, would no longer be a youth ambassador for the late December game.

“Based on the video and domestic violence report regarding Zac Stacy, the TransPerfect Music City Bowl has terminated the relationship with Zac Stacy effective immediately,” the Music City Bowl said in a statement

Stacy played college football at Vanderbilt, which is located in Nashville, the city that hosts the Music City Bowl. Stacy played in the bowl game in 2012, rushing 25 times for 107 yards and a touchdown as Vanderbilt defeated NC State 38-24.

In a video that emerged this week, a man who is allegedly Stacy was seen throwing multiple punches at his ex-girlfriend Kristin Evans and throwing her into a television, which fell on top of her. This all transpired in front of their 5-month-old infant.

Evans called police and later filed for a restraining order.

“He punched me several times in the head! I begged him to stop because the baby was on the couch just a few feet from where he punched me,” she recalled in a restraining order application obtained by TMZ. She said she was hospitalized with bumps, bruises, and a possible cut to the head.
